Eperimental test with music.

Ive done a induction with a p2 video camera which ment i could film my experimental animation with a much lower shatter speed to stop blurring.
this is a short example of what i will do in my final piece, i have put the music in the background but im going to try and match up the motion more to the music in the actual one.

this is filmed at 12 fps and played back at 25fps, the wheel has a loop of 18 images.

consept art, character and background design.

THE CORNISH CREAM TEAS!

these are my my concept ideas for my 30 second flash and lip sync project:
"cream then jam or jam then cream?":
i have recorded people talking about cream teas whilst we ate them and discussed jam, cream and everything scone related!

my characters will be 3 scones with different types of toppings talking about jam and cream.
my characters and background will be water colour with biro on top, the faces will be very animated but the bodies will stay relatively still.

Final concept image with characters, layout and backgrounds.

smile motion graphics project

we have been set our motion graphics brief where we have to create 10-12 seconds of motion graphics that start and end with a smilet graphic that we have been given, the result will be player in q-bar and we can do whatever we want using After Effects. I have been doing the tutorials on v-co-pilot and i want to try using motion tracking. here is my first attempt its just a rough version of what i want my final film to be!
