character designs - Trumpets and Saxaphones!

animation style tests, using flash.

Ive been doing a couple of tests in flash to see if the use of a paper texture is going to work and how it will work.

1. movings character with a fixed fill that does not move.

2. Moving character with flickering fill.

3.Moving charcter on flickering background (flipbook)

Character concepts

Our main characters are a man and his dog and by the end of last we we had decided me would be a man who has just got out of bed when our story takes place, this weekend ive been working on some character sheets.

STORYBOARDS!

ive been storyboarding out our group project so i can explain it easily in the presentation today! there quite simlpe boards with not rweally any text yet but i think ive got the whole story in it and tyhe action is clear.

yes no, second consept art

ive been working on this second piece of concept art, playing around with how our animation will look, we want a mixture of style and like the idea of the main character having a papery texture

PRISON

after discussing my pre production project with a few different people it kept coming up that instead of my trumpet or musical instrument going to a human prison it should be going to a trumpet prison which in the world of musical instrument would be its case!

so ive put together this next piece of concept art showing a trumpet case and using the shadows of prison bars to suggest the idea of prison.
