Ive been doing a couple of tests in flash to see if the use of a paper texture is going to work and how it will work.

1. movings character with a fixed fill that does not move.

2. Moving character with flickering fill.

Character concepts

Our main characters are a man and his dog and by the end of last we we had decided me would be a man who has just got out of bed when our story takes place, this weekend ive been working on some character sheets.

ive been working on this second piece of concept art, playing around with how our animation will look, we want a mixture of style and like the idea of the main character having a papery texture

PRISON

after discussing my pre production project with a few different people it kept coming up that instead of my trumpet or musical instrument going to a human prison it should be going to a trumpet prison which in the world of musical instrument would be its case!

so ive put together this next piece of concept art showing a trumpet case and using the shadows of prison bars to suggest the idea of prison.

Ive been working on this piece of consept art for my pre-pro project, its not finnished but it shows my main characters the trumpet and saxaphone playing music shown by brightly colours klimt style patters.
